Absolutely love Compassion! I absolutely love being a Compassion sponsor! I currently sponsor 4 little girls, 3 in El Salvador and 1 in Guatemala. I love writing to them and getting their letters and drawings in return. It makes my day to hear from them! It almost feels like they are a part of my family. I am so thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these little girls through Compassion's ministry. I have full confidence in Compassion's integrity both financially and in how they minister.

Sponsoring a child will change your life I have been a sponsor for a couple of years. It has been an amazing experience! It really makes my day when I receive a letter from my sponsored child. I am so grateful I have the resources to help make a difference in someone else's life. I wish everyone would take the opportunity to become a sponsor. It is only about a dollar a day. Who can't afford that? I know I have spent a dollar on a lot of less important things! Please take the opportunity to sponsor a child today.

A Joy to Partner With Compassion! I started sponsoring my first child when I was in college and now I am 32. I have had the honor of watching the letters I receive move from basic, generic letters to beautiful testaments of faith, joy and love. I am continually touched by the love these children have for me and my family, as well as Jesus Christ. Compassion's ministry moved to the "next level" for me when I commited to writing the children regularly and praying for them on a daily basis! What an opportunity and blessing!

Amazing I absolutely love this program! All children are children of God and it is our job to help them. I get so excited when i see an envelope in the mail from Compassion saying, "A letter from your sponsored child"

Nice experience until the end I sponsored a girl in Brazil for a number of years. The girl reached age 18 and was no longer part of the program. Compassion offered to send me information on another child. Fine. Then I got a letter thanking me for my "decision" to sponsor the girl. I never gave them my consent to sign me up for another sponsorship. I called to protest this, and the girl unapologetically told me that the child had already been added to my account. Compassion lost my trust after this.

Every child is a gift from God! I love my girls so much. Compassion is great! I love how it helps the child develop in every area: physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, economically, etc. and it excited me to learn that children get their own Bible and are taught how to pray. All of them hear the Gospel. It's so wonderful. We all need God. And by sponsoring a child you can help them hear about Jesus and get an opportunity to accept Him and grow in Him. How can you beat that? Sponsor a child - you'll never regret it!!

What an Amazing Program! When God first nudged me to sponsor a child, I wasn't quite sure. It was scary, making a commitment, knowing a child depended on me and looked forward to my letters. But I took a leap of faith and sponsored a little girl in Ecuador. She was such a blessing, that it was my delight to sponsor another, a little boy in Sri Lanka! I have a heart for children, and knowing there are now two little ones learning of Jesus, eating good food, and getting an education because of me, I praise God for His goodness.

Amazing Mission trip with Compassion! My family along with members of our church just returned from a week long mission trip to the Dominican Republic with Compassion. It was the best trip we have ever taken! We now as a group sponsor 11 children at this project. We worked, served and played with the kids as well as 250 other children. We also visited their homes and families. Great blessing for everyone involved. Compassion ranks at the top with their organization, planning, translators, pastor, everything!

Thanks Compassion My family had made the decision to be a sponsor during a Compassion Sunday our church was having. We had never done anything like Compassion and can say I feel Compassion will always be a part of our lives. We love getting letters from our sponsor boy and just being a part of each others lives. When we receive his letter, we gather as a family and read the letter outloud. Every time we receive a letter, it's a time to celebrate. We look forward to having him in our lives!

Amazing Ministry I had the awesome opportunity to actually meet my sponsored children in Brazil and in Guatemala on a Compassion Sponsor Tour. It was an incredible trip. I was able to see the Compassion projects first hand, meet the Project Director from my child's project, and in both cases meet their parents. I was also able to see the pure joy in the kid's faced when we visited the projects. My heart has forever been changed by those trips, and I will never be the same!

James 1:27 at work My husband and I have been thinking very seriously about adoption, and sponsoring our child from India is our first step in what we believe is a God-directed path. We are so blessed to be used by Him to help another, to be blessed financially and living in America where we have a surplus of money to pay forward. I am so excited to get to know our child over the years and seeing how God uses us to bless him!

Wish I could sponsor them all. We love our Mikel from Indonesia. The whole family gets so excited when we get a letter from him. It is the best $38 I spend every month.

Awesomeness is God's Grace & Mercy Today my daughter and I sponsored a young man in Togo, Africa. I'm beaming! He looks just like my oldest son. My sisters were in awe at the resemblance. To know that we are able to follow God's word and do for others without seeing them or touching them is such a rewarding achievement in stretching our ability to love beyond ourselves. I'm in stitches waiting for our first letter - I'm sure my daughter will write like crazy. Thank you Compassion for this opportunity to love.

Change of heart After asking God to break my heart for what breaks his, I answered the call to sponsor a child through Compassion International. What I did not expect was to learn that what was breaking God's heart more than my child's condition was the selfish and greedy condition of my heart. I thank you Compassion for being the vessel God used to forever change my heart.

A Rewarding Experience I can't put into words how rewarding and helpful it's been to me to sponsor a child. I tend to suffer from anxiety and self absorption. Sponsoring a child who needs love and to hear the word of Christ really wakes me up to what's important in life. Not me, not my empty worries, but doing the will of Christ. I can't resist the words, " Who welcomes a child like these welcomes me." Everyone's a winner!

Compassion Trips are First Class!! Wow! Just got back from Honduras with a group from our church and it was an awe inspiring experience. We had about 20 children we sponsored and they were all just precious. I have never been hugged so much in my life, especially from the kids we were not sponsering. We were able to meet with each of our 3 children, visit their homes and meet their parents. I highly reccomend making a trip to see your child if at all possible. It's the closet you can get to heaven and still be on earth.

Compassion Rocks!!!!!!! Compassion is an amazing, wonderful and great program. i love seeing my child in the pics. and the love in her eyes. She has the love of God just showing through her. The things she says are just wonderful and a light in my life. To hear a 10 year old girl just write about the love and mercy of God when she has nothing and she is just so happy and to hear her ask me if I'm alright. When you sponsor you think you are going to change their life when they end up changing yours. please sponsor thank you.

Such a Blessing to Our Family My family and I have sponsored a young man in Ethiopia for approximately 16 years. We discovered Compassion through a Petra concert in Lakeland, and our young man was only four years old at the time. We have recieved many wonderful letters, photos, and information about his country. He is 20 now, and his time in the program will end in two months. Sponsoring a child is easy and rewarding, but coming to the end of it is difficult, however, I know that God will provide, and he will be fine.

Amazing This program has been amazing. I am sponsoring a little girl from Ghana and thoroughly enjoy both writing and receiving letters. I enjoy getting to know my child and knowing I'm giving her a better life. I have now been sponsoring for two years. I realize how lucky I am and have learned a lot from my child. I am even considering sponsoring another and would like to visit my child. God shows me this is the way, he opens my heart more and more each day. Glad I can make an impact on someone elses life.

Compassion is AMAZING! I sponsored a little boy in November of '11. And he has changed my life! In America we take so much for granted. And He really has changed me. My parents have a Compassion kid too. Her name is Sharon. My little boys name is Juma. They both live in Uganda. I am 16 and I have paid for over 6 months for my Compassion kid. I got my first letter from him and i was so excited! Compassion really is a wonderful program and when i get a job I am planning on sponsoring a little Girl in Uganda or Haiti.

Changed My Life... My world seemed to turn upside down when I made that final "click" and began sponsoring my little girl from India. I was desperately seeking for a way to serve God in a light I couldn't find here in America and this is where I found it. She is a blessing to me! My "gift" money has not been given in vain. With it her family has received their first fan, she got a real mattress, a desk, new clothes and umbrella. Humbling experience for me how far $25.00 will go for her. Sponsorship will change you.
