Wish I Could Sponsor Many More We've had the privilege of sponsoring a number of children over the years. I am so impressed with the ministry of Compassion International. There are so many things to appreciate as a sponsor, but the thing I enjoy the most is how much the kids write! You really get a chance to build relationships with these children and the children are so grateful. I'm grateful to them for the privilege of being part of their lives. We are still in contact with one child who graduated from the program.

Best Sponsorship Organization I have been sponsoring children with Compassion for over 20 years. I trust Compassion to make sure the money I send is going to my children and that they are well cared for. I like the fact that Compassion uses churches and program leaders from the community. I am very happy with Compassion and would not use any other organization.

The Best Thing I Have Ever Done!! In November, at a concert, I sponsored Ashenafi from Ethiopia. I am so glad God brought this wonderful 9 year old boy to me. He likes to write letters. I am so happy God called me to him!

Love the program! I have just started sponsoring a sweet little 4 year old boy from Asia. I love that the children are exposed to Christianity, and that I am allowed to express my own faith to my child. I just sent my first letter, and it was incredibly easy! There are so many fun templates to choose from, and I can add photos easily. I would highly recommend Compassion to anyone.

Change Being a teenager money is tight and waitressing doesn't bring in much money. But since I started sponsoring my sweet Compassion child I don't even realize the money is gone. I am never short. Sponsoring has changed my life. I've always been told to give but never have and once I started giving it changed my life. Now I give, give, give. Receiving is not anything I think about. I am so grateful for Compassion and everything they do.

Compassion on both ends I"m almost three years into my sponsorship with Compassion International. and it's been an awesome experience. I sponsor 2 girls Yayra in Togo who is almost 7 years old, and Daphnee in Haiti who will be six soon. These two kids are a blessing to me. The letters are sunshine in an envelope and make my days brighter. Compassion is helping me grow in God's word as well. Compassion very responsible with funds sent to your children! We've been blessed.... We signed up to sponsor our child, Javier, almost 6 years ago. During that time we have received & replied to more letters than I can count. We've been able to celebrate milestones, share stories, pray about specific concerns that he would write about, and more. We recently received information that Javier has moved out of his sponsored area. We are very sad about this, but can celebrate how he has forever blessed our family and rejoice that he accepted Christ during while sponsored. God is Good!

Nehemias Ezequiel Beltran Monterroza Since 2 years ago we were blessed to help out a little boy by the name Nehemias. My husband and I knew it was God's doing by bringing this beautiful little boy in our lives.Thanks to Compassion we have not only gotten to help but we have gotten to know this little boy who we now think of as one of our own. This has been a huge blessing and there is no doubt that we will continue to give to this child till he is older.

Josselin This is an amazing program! My youth group sponsors Josselin Paulina Tuguinga Satan. She is an amazing young girl. She has written us one letter already. I am so glad that I am able to help a child that is less fortunate than I am. I pray that she grows into a beautiful woman strong in her faith.

What a Joy I received my packet this week for my sponsored child, Dorcas. What a beautiful smile she has! I have already written a letter to her, with pictures so she can put a face with the name. So looking forward to hearing from her and watching her grow through the years. I first heard of Compassion International through Ann Voskamp, author of "One Thousand Gifts".

All Glory to God! At first, I was nervous to commit the time and finances it takes to sponsor a child. But I felt God's tug on my heart to sponsor a little girl in Haiti, and it has been a huge blessing! My heart is so filled with love for her, and receiving letters and pictures is such a joy! Compassion is a quality organization with a practical, hope-filled mission, making a real difference in the lives of children and their families. I dream of sponsoring more children and visiting them all.

Estebam & Marcelo We just recently sponsored a new child, named Marcelo. He lives in Bolivia with many other siblings. We have sponsored our other child, Esteban, for a little while, and he lives in Peru. He has a little brother. It is a blessing to write to them, and to be their sponsor.

Obediance My husband and I have always wanted more children and today we got our 4 yr old bundle of joy! She does not live in our home but in our HEARTS! We are so blessed to have this little sweetheart in our lives to love and pray for. I pray that more people can find it in their hearts to embrace these children and show them God's love through sponsorship.

Leslie and Vanessa I got Leslie when I was 5 and Vanessa when I was 9. It is so cool because you can learn a lot about when a child in poverty's life is like but also your support for them helps their families get the things they need. It also helps your sponsor child get tutors and a close relationship with God and appropriate health care.

GOD SAID TO BE DISCIPLES We are to take care of those who can't take care of themselves. GOD called my husband & I nine year's ago to take care of a child in Kenya. To show how GOD did work in our life because we decided to follow his calling, he went before us. My husband had lost a child before it was a year old, 30 years ago, I lost my mother, in 2000. We asked GOD to show us a way thru this child to help heal our hearts. newton mirthi was it. He had the same birthday as our lost family members, we knew it was GOD.

I wish I could sponsor them all! I have been a sponsor for a little over a year but I cannot express the feeling of receiving my sponsored child's letters and drawings. They simply make my day!

Kids CAN do something I am 14 years old and have been sponsoring a little girl from Bolivia now for 5 months. I can't explain the joy I feel when I receive her letters! Even sending out my monthly payment I feel like I am really making a difference in her life! Other kids can sponsor too, I think it would help a lot of kids. I wish everyone just once could feel the joy and satisfaction of receiving a letter from a sponsored child, they bless you with every word!!!!!

So encouraging! I love Compassion! I love to know what is going on with my child, and knowing that a difference is being made in his life. It is so easy to know what is going on with Compassion. Everything you could possibly need or want to know about being a sponsor, or what they do is right there on the internet. I wish correspondence was faster, but I have no other complaints. in Jesus' name!

More Than You Could Know My wife and I had been sponsors for 8 years when a letter from our sponsored child rocked our world. I had seen that Michael W. Smith had visited his sponsored children so I decided to check if it was possible for us. I was impressed to learn that, not only is it possible, but encouraged. That trip - intended to benefit our sponsored child, actually changed my life. Compassion does so much more than what I had realized. I was amazed by what I saw from every aspect. Compassion is the real deal!

Many Blessings I am so blessed by sponsoring children through Compassion! I am excited to be able to write to my children and receive their warm and touching letters. Also, being able to make their Christmas, birthday and family life special and blessed brings great joy to my heart. I truly believe that being Christ centered and involving the local church makes this sponsorship program so successful and unique. Being a sponsor is the best Christmas present I have ever received.

God knew I was ready! I've been "on the fence" with one excuse or another to be a sponsor. My husband & I attended a Point of Grace concert just before Christmas (which I had won tickets!) at which there was a Compassion presentation. Volunteers distributed children's info packets down a few of the aisles. It just clicked. I told my husband "THIS IS IT!" I'm going to be a sponsor! I haven't even heard from my little girl yet but I've written to her several times. I am so excited to be a tiny part of her life!

I absolutely Love Compassion I love Compassion International and the work they do. The opportunity they have given us to provide sponsorship, encouragement, hope and love to a child is one I am truly thankful for. The letters I receive from my sponsored child are treasures, and the testimonies of those who have completed the program are rewarding. This program allows us to be the hands and feet of JESUS and gives us the opportunity to put our love into action. Thank You Compassion for your love and commitment.

The joy of the eldery I conduct a church service in a local nursing home. They sponsor a child and are so alive now. It gives them something to feel that they ARE providing something useful in their lives. I have personally sponsored a child, but letting the nursing home residents sponsor a child has given new meaning to each of their lives. Our Sunday offering is used for sponsoring the child. Residents have very limited discretionary money, but their children are giving the extra money to put in the collection.

Encouragement from Kenya I have been sponsoring an older boy with disabilities in Kenya for 14 months. I have loved being a part of Compassion's sponsorship program. It's amazing how encouraging the letters from the child (even written by a translator) can be to us here in America. I have received 6 letters this past year. The letters never fail to provide a smile and a new perspective on life. I didn't expect to be so encouraged and have my day brightened by the child - I thought I was helping him. Great blessing!
