Amazing! We are all called to be the hands and feet of Christ Jesus. What better way then to help a child in need then through Compassion that helps the children grow in all aspects of their lives. I love to share the love of the Lord with my little sponsor child from Peru. Her letters are such a blessing to me! I pray that one day I will have the opportunity to go with Compassion to Peru to meet her. I love that Compassion is transparent in all of the ways that the funds are used.

16 and sponsoring my lovely 2 kids I had heard about Compassion before and then at a concert I was given a packet of a little boy and when reading it, it just broke my heart. At that instant I knew God wanted me to sponsor him and it has changed my life! Since then I have sponsored another child and am also a correspondent sponsor and can't wait to keep getting more children. No matter the age, you'll love being able to know that your taking care of a child and that you get to write to them and get to know them by their letters.

Started with two, and now at 4! We started our sponsorship after a friend "hooked us" by selecting children with the same birthday as ours. As a special "present" to our 90 year old mother we sponsored another child with her birthday and just recently we sponsored a fourth child for a church friend who had just graduated. We are certain that there will be more down the road - we could not think of a greater gift than to "give someone a child".

Changed this teenaged life of mine! I am fourteen and when I chose to sponsor my sweet girl Bonna Das. I had no clue what joy it would bring! Everyday I race to the mail box in hopes of a letter. Corresponding and sponsoring through Compassion has not only, as my parents put it, made me more responsible, since I provide every penny of the sponsorship cost but it makes me a more beautiful and happy person. I followed God and he led me here. With Compassion I answered on of God's calls on my life I urge everyone to answer yours!

God's Gift I had always wondered if God gave His people a special opportunity or chance to work and further His kingdom in Heaven. That was answered many years ago in 1990 when I picked up a lone Compassion sponsor brochure laying by itself on top of a soda machine in a military chapel. I have been a sponsor ever since, sponsoring children in El Salvador, Brazil, and currently, Ghana. With Compassion, I am able to do God's work as He so lovingly asked me to do, and for many years to come.

Changed MY Life I first have to praise Compassion for being so accessible to young people. I have sponsored since I was 16 and it has taught me to be generous, responsible and a good steward of my resources. I sponsor 3 girls in India. After a trip to visit them I fell in love with India and now live there myself! I've seen first hand the blessing it is to them, but think I've been blessed even more! Also, they don't force Christianity on the children, as one negative reviewer believed. 1 of my girls is Hindu.

Teenagers CAN do something!!!! I've been a sponsor of my child in Peru for about 4 years. I started sponsoring him when he was six and I was 15. Something valuable sponsorship has taught me is that there is something teenagers can do to change the world one child at a time. I remember the first time I received a letter written by my child. Compassion has been a blessing to me. Sure, 38 dollars a month seems like a lot, but what you receive is so much more than what you give.

I thank God for Compassion and the... ...wonderful opportunity that it gives me to really help some children in need! I love how I can write my kids to find out how they are doing and how they are growing as well as to be able to tell them about God and to get to know them personally. I have personal experience with how thorough a job Compassion does to keep track of the different centers - keeping them accountable to how they spend the money sent to them. I have nothing bad to say about Compassion and I DO recommend it to friends!

We LOVE Compassion! What a blessing to see our little girl in India grow from age 7 to 13 into a beautiful young woman. We are blessed to receive her letters, hear how she is doing in school, and see her love of Jesus growing. We just sponsored a second little girl in India and hope to visit them both one day.

I am the blessed one I was so excited when I originally signed up to be a sponsor but I had no idea the overwhelming amount of love I felt when I received my first letter! I feel good that the money I send is used wisely. I send extra money for her birthday and always look forward to what she has purchased with it - often it is items to help with daily living, goats, chickens, a dress. The love I am getting in return is something money can't buy! I am so happy for this opportunity!

Who is blessing who? My husband and I are sponsoring our 3rd child. Our first took every bit of money we sent and bought animals to start his own farm. Our 2nd, a little girl, is trying to make sense of an unstable family life. We're helping her to find God in all of this. Our 3rd, a little boy, is so excited and we were able to "visit" him through our niece and nephew who are going to start an orphanage in Togo. They gave him a bike for us. It's amazing to see them respond in love! WE are the blessed ones!

Passion For Compassion Being a Compassion sponsor has been the biggest blessing in my life. I started with 1 sponsored child and now, almost 3 years later, my mother and I sponsor a dozen children and an LDP student. We can't stop! I love being a sponsor and knowing that I am making a difference in the life of a fellow child of God. I encourage everyone to sponsor with Compassion!

Love Compassion I love Compassion, the children encourage me as much as I encourage them, to the person that is a former sponsor because of 1 mistake in adding a child to their account that they didn't request, I would encourage you to realize that EVERYONE makes mistakes and that is no reason to stop helping children in poverty. It is rewarding to me to get the letters from my kids telling me what a difference I am making in their life

Best Sponsorship Program I've been a sponsor for over 3 years and am continually blessed and impressed with their work. I love the interaction I get with my child and with Compassion. I get about 6 letters a year and I have gotten a couple of updated pictures. Compassion's interaction between me and my child is incredible, professional, and truly inspired by God. I feel good giving my money to Compassion, because I know that the good majority of it goes directly to my child. I'm also an advocate. Sponsor a child today.

It Opened a Gateway to My Heart I first heard about Compassion when I was at Creation Music Festival. I caught myself walking by the Compassion tent once, twice, then again. Being a teenager who had just started working in the fabulous fast food industry, I didn't think I could make a difference. But adopting a Compassion child was truly one of the best decisions of my life. Knowing I can send love, hope, and support has opened up my heart! God sure does work in mysterious ways. I pray Compassion saves all children in need!

Looking at sponsoring a second child. I have been sponsoring a girl in Peru for 3 years. I started sponsoring after returning from a church ministry trip to Lima. We worked for at a women's center in Lima. It was my first time seeing poverty of this magnitude. I wanted to do more after returning home. I chose to sponsor through Compassion because unlike other organizations they encourage relationship through letter writing, you feel more involved personally. They work closely with the local church. Read "Too Small to Ignore"

Sponsorship = A blessing I was at a concert and a Compassion booth was there. A lot of people were around the booth, so the workers passed sample packets of children needing sponsors. When they put my child's packet in my hand, I saw his sweet face and I knew God meant me to sponsor him. I've been sponsoring him for about 4 years now. The letters are so encouraging. His pictures from the first couple non smiling pictures to his now Beaming smile pictures proves what Comapassion has given him - Jesus' love.

Excellent Organization! Compassion has been very responsible with the funds. I love hearing from my sponsor child and I can tell that the program makes a difference! Both sponsor and child benefit from being connected through Compassion.

Absolutely love Compassion! I absolutely love being a Compassion sponsor! I currently sponsor 4 little girls, 3 in El Salvador and 1 in Guatemala. I love writing to them and getting their letters and drawings in return. It makes my day to hear from them! It almost feels like they are a part of my family. I am so thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these little girls through Compassion's ministry. I have full confidence in Compassion's integrity both financially and in how they minister.

Sponsoring a child will change your life I have been a sponsor for a couple of years. It has been an amazing experience! It really makes my day when I receive a letter from my sponsored child. I am so grateful I have the resources to help make a difference in someone else's life. I wish everyone would take the opportunity to become a sponsor. It is only about a dollar a day. Who can't afford that? I know I have spent a dollar on a lot of less important things! Please take the opportunity to sponsor a child today.

A Joy to Partner With Compassion! I started sponsoring my first child when I was in college and now I am 32. I have had the honor of watching the letters I receive move from basic, generic letters to beautiful testaments of faith, joy and love. I am continually touched by the love these children have for me and my family, as well as Jesus Christ. Compassion's ministry moved to the "next level" for me when I commited to writing the children regularly and praying for them on a daily basis! What an opportunity and blessing!

Amazing I absolutely love this program! All children are children of God and it is our job to help them. I get so excited when i see an envelope in the mail from Compassion saying, "A letter from your sponsored child"
